and the questions fly by, and it's more difficult to search for specific questions to answer?

I find that the "chatty community point-mongering" system encourages people to flit from place to place and dump garbage wherever they can. Much like anything online, this too draws more nonsense than not - adding to the clutter and burying the useful.

It has been difficult for me to locate my own answers to questions with a lot of replies. Maybe there is a way to search for only my own answers...but I am too lazy to seek it out.

For these reasons, I hardly bother any more. It is hard to take much of the Yahoo experience seriously, and I've been part of the community for quite some time. Good luck.

I agree. The questions only stay on the first page a short time. Sometimes when someone asks a ton of (usually stupid) Q's in a row your Q doesn't get a fair shake. Lately I have been going back a page or two for some more interesting Q's to answer. And why is it the really DUMB Q's get a ton of answers. Like that Cheryl B's vile tirade yesterday. Over 50 answers. Makes no sense. I shouldn't talk because I answered it, too.

The key word is "fly by" because you know well as I do probably 90% of the questions aren't of any importance to begin with and when a worthy question drops down the page so fast ya feel mad for wasting the time to type a good question.

I don't ask too many questions, only unless I really feel the need....and then, it's when questions being posted are a bit slower...I found that If I try to post a question when the "Board" is full, sort to speak, then sometimes my question won't post at all or gets buried on a back page

the questions go past the first page of a category very quickly and few people answer older questions.

looks like you got lotsa answers here, though.... I guess everyone thinks it's an issue.

Good question!

Ever since I've started using YA anytime I ask a question I'm lucky to get 6 replies. It's really annoying =/

I do get less answers. My questions are on and off the main page so quickly

I have noticed that there are more simple-minded, ignorant answers. We do however get good solid, well though-out answers mixed in from time to time and those are GOLDEN! Be prepared for the fluff. GO FOR THE GOLD.
