I think people like that have issues with something about themselves that they refuse to accept or want to take time to deal with. So they ridicule others to make themselves feel better. The words shallow and vain come to mind.

I don't have a problem with fat people. What I DO have a problem with, however, are fat people who wear things that they REALLY shouldn't. I'm sorry but when I see some one walking down the street or in a store who is 250+ wearing daisy dukes and a tube top, I want to puke! And don't give me that "look away" crap because you just can't help but notice and you can't say you don't. And the ones who constantly eat at the McDonald's dollar menu and watch ten hours of TV a day and then complain that they "can't" lose weight or they're getting fat. Get a treadmill! Better yet, go outside and run around the block a couple of times! Do some push-ups! Some crunches! Go on a diet! I understand that with some people it IS harder to lose weight than others. But if you really want to lose weight that bad you can do it. Most people just give up because it's hard. It's supposed to be hard! If it were easy, everyone would do it! I can also understand diabetics and people with those kind of diseases because they really can't help it. But being over weight and not doing anything about it is a choice.

I am a former fat person myself having lost 180 pounds. I would never say anything out loud to hurt someones feelings. I do however feel that they hold responsibility for what has happened. There is no such thing as eating healthy and being overweight. If you are overweight you are eating incorrectly. It is a hard thing to know you are the reason why. You may have been saddened or abused but it was still you that put the food in your mouth. There are other ways to cope with life's issues. I had to under go a horrific period of self matters to figure out why I ate and how to stop. Thankfully changing that issue of me made a much healthier mental me as well. Except as one of their former ranks I hold little sympathy for the obese.

It can be annoying to people who really work hard to keep themselves healthy. It can also be annoying to anyone who has never had to put forth a single ounce of energy and is at an "appropriate" weight because they assume that any fat person spends all day either eating twinkies or looking for them.
There are many reasons why a person can be fat, but really, the majority of them are because they do not eat right and exercise enough. Health problems, obviously, are excluded from that group. General laziness annoys people, and anyone who is fat is often targeted as "lazy" only because it's something you can see right away and make a judgement. Anyone who put forth effort can see how lazy people really are, fat or skinny but they're probably too lazy to bother.

I don't have a problem with "fat" people at all. One of my best friends was a very big girl. I only have issues with myself if I get bigger. I've been there too.....(not very big--but definitely bigger). I hit the gym all the time and lost 4 sizes (14 down to a 6) and I don't want it back. I worry about myself not what other people look like.

People have issues with fat people because they see them as having no self control, the level of which is disgusting, considering there are people out there who don't eat at all on a given day(I don't mean by choice, I mean who can't afford to)a person in a wheelchair likely didn't get there from their own stupidity, and even if they did, you don't know, whereas if a person is fat, IT IS THEIR FAULT. CASE CLOSED.

Skinny people gotta try and feel superior to someone and they can't do it by busing their brains, so fat people is their obvious target.
I think it is sorta funny when a bony, wrinkly, butt ugly person who is a total chainsmoker tries to dis on fat people..... As if they are the epitome of health or something. It makes me smirk because it is kinda desperate need to feel superiority.
Kinda pathetic.

I would bet that less than 5% of fat people are fat because of something medical. It is simply the garbage that people put into their bodies, and the lack of exercise. How many hours/day do people watch t.v. and surf the net? It doesn't take much to lose weight. 20 minutes/day of exercise can do it for just about anyone. But, most people are too lazy. "I don't have time" is the biggest excuse. Sure...20 minutes? Who doesn't have 20 minutes?
So, fat people reading this...if you don't actually have a medical problem...get off your lazy butts and do something. Drop the fork, get on the treadmill and QUIT WEARING CLOTHES THAT LET YOUR FAT HANG OUT! IT'S DISGUSTING!
