Hip hop music and fashion go hand in hand in the us. they are both influenced by each other. "Street trends" can quickly be seen in the fashion industry. Clothes put out by the fashion industry, not only are designed by hip hop artists, but then altered by mainstream America.

media such as music and video influence the society with the way they appear on screen. music artists..rappers..actors and many others have their own sense of hip-hop fashion...overall...the society sees it as something kewl and portrays the artist ..etc...some effects of hip hop fashion are spunkier and more revealing style ..it is usually rare to see these fashions on an evryday street..but it grows more and more..
