When 1.5 L spills from the original 4 L solution, that leaves 3.5 L. The amount of salt would be (15%)*(3.5 L) = 0.525 L. The final volume of the solution is the full 5 L capacity of the jug, so the salt content will be (0.525 L) / (5 L) = 0.105 = 10.5%, answer C.
