I don't mean those who need to lose 5-10 pounds.....I mean those who are like 50 pounds overweight, and they wear skintight shirts and mini-skirts.

I guess it's cool that they are that comfortable with their body, but not everybody can appreciate seeing a sausage stuffed in a casing that's 5 sizes too small......

DON'T HATE THE ASKER......HATE THE QUESTION!

Well, it depends on who is talking. I am 6' tall and wear size 16 and I weight 225 pounds. My doctor says I am 50 pounds overweight, but believe me mostly my pounds are concentrated in my boobs and my a**.

And I am telling you ~ I am a fabulously looking babe. I exercise and swim so my stomach is flat and my muscles are toned. Clothes that I wear are mostly tight to show my body, and yes I turn a lot of heads to my direction which makes my husband go "mu-ah-ha-ha and she is all mine"....

BUT I am still 50 pounds overweight!

Believe me or not, I too turn my head sometimes to check out skinny girls, but mostly I feel sorry for them especially when I see them eating. What a torture!

I think the exact same thing. It's totally gross when people who are over weight wear clothes that a twig of a person shouldn't even be wearing. They probably dont want to admit that they are the size that they really are because they want to be like everyone else. The thing that I dont get is they actually look better when they dress in the right size and cut and it makes them look thinner then they actually are. I guess it's just one of those things we'll never really know.

Unfortunately not everyone is a size 10. Devestatingly the fashion industry think that larger sized women have no interest staying current with the kind of clothes they supply in these "normal" sizes. I think some people want to wear the clothes in fashion and so wear clothes that are too small for them. Most larger people don't want to go around wearing a sack/tent, whatever you want to call the shapeless baggy crap in our size.
I think everyone should be able to wear what they want, looking good or not. Not everyone likes to see a thin girls skeleton under their skin.
Each to their own without judgement!

I have never seen anyone like this, where do you live? besides there is nothing wrong with positive self image, just because society says a person should look and dress a certain way, why do we have to fall victim to what society dictates? I dont understand the obsession with these types of questions, with so may problems going on in your own city/town to worry about something so trivial.

I don't know...even when I did have the extra 5 to 10 lbs before I lost it, I wouldn't wear the tight clothes. How about the ones on the beach in bikinis?
I guess it is great that they are comfortable enough to do it....I just wasn't with a little weight....if I had alot I couldn't do it.

I think that maybe there just isn't many designers who design for bigger women, so they have to try to fit into the styles for smaller women. I wish they would get a full length mirror, not to be offensive, but do you know you look that bad?! I just don't think there is enough information out there on how to dress if your overweight. And don't get me started on the big ones that wear their pajamas around!! DID YA JUST GIVE UP OR WHAT!!??!!

It's mostly a cultural bias, I think.

In the pacific islands, having a bit of extra weight, and showing it off, is considered attractive...

It doesn't bother me that much, what's so bad about it, as long as the clothes are the right size? I can appreciate a BBW......

What bothers me is when they don't wear underwear.... thats just not polite......

Because even fat people deserve to wear nice clothes and feel sexy and beautiful. If theyre confident like that, than why should they wera baggy clothes that only make them look dumpier. It may not be the most attractive thing to see, but even thin girls shouldnt be prancing around with everything hanging out, still looks trashy either way. Im 5ft3 and weight 108 and even I dont walk around like that (unless Im w/o the kids and on a date with hubby).

I live in a town where there are alot of big men (thank GOD!...Iam an admitted chubby chaser! LOL) and women. I personally think it looks nicer if people wear a size that fits but, if they want to go low cut or short skirt or whatever...hey if you feel sexy...good for you!

Yes I have noticed that myself...I need to loose a few pounds, however I do choose clothes that flatter my body no matter what weight I'm at. And most often the clothes are not supper tight!!
