Actually I would like to see a live television show linked to the Hubble showing the Lunar Lander, the transport vehicle and the flag left behind.
I don't believe we had the technology to go to the moon in 1969.
Most answers are saying we didn't have the technology to fake CGi, folks what makes you think we had the technology to fly to another planet?

Armando - 1)The flag was made that way, to look like it was waving the wind. If you view the event, you do not see the flag moving in the "wind". 2)The gravity is 1/6 that of earth. That's why they could jump higher and land softly. If it was staged on Earth, how could they jump so high? 3) And when Armstrong was landing the Eagle, he said, "kicking up some dust" right before the Eagle landed.
Things to "think" about, if you know how.

The lunar landing was broadcast LIVE on television around the world. What more proof do you need?
Plus as someone else pointed out the technology required for that kind of hoax (i.e. special effects) didn't exist at the time.

That's the problem with weak minded people. They reproduce.
Do you really think that the Russians wouldn't have had a field day exposing a USA fraudulent moon landing? And yes, they had the technology to monitor and check the flight. On a clear day you can still see the lander and the flag.

I can't believe that this is still being asked. In the 1960's we did not have the technology to fake this.(remember, no real CGI) It was broadcast LIVE,to the world. If your ever in NY.s Long Island area, visit the Air and Space museum where a actual Lunar Lander, that was not used,is on display. Flimsy, hell yes, but do-able? No doubt about it,it happened.

As Eagleperch pointed out, the Russians would have loved to prove our moon landing was fradulent. I hadn't thought of that before and would like to thank him for pointing that out.
Of course, my first response was moon rocks. We have over a ton of them brought back by Apollo missions. Your state museum might even have one since NASA dispersed many of them to major museums when they were done studying them.

Yes, it was televised via satellite in July of 1969.
If you need to see additional proof, you can go there and see the American flag that is still standing.
Have a good trip!

they say there is no wind on the moon, why was the flag waving after being placed in the ground.
If there is no gravity, how did they fall back to the surface after a leap?
also, why wasnt there any dust being scattered when they landed? if there is no gravity, then they would have had to use some kind of propulsion to land gently, which would have scattered debris. Just a little something to think about
