Obviously people will make an argument that its Sobers or Dev or even Sanath Jayasuriya but I think Imran Khan is the best. And if you dont agree with that I'd say he's atleast one of the most clutch. Ths guy was 40 sumthin and won a world cup. Name all the guyz that have done that (as captain).

While Ian Botham of England was the greatest all rounder as far as Test Cricket is concerned. Imran Khan of Pakistan had slightly better performance than Ian Botham in One Day Internationals.

Every Era has their own, Gary Sobers was in his era, Kapil Dev was from his Era, but would say Imran Khan, his last 50 + innings with the bat, he averaged 50 with the bat, and 21 with the ball. As an all rounder he was also the captian. I will never forget the reverse swing yorkers..

You are very right! It could have been only King Khan. His batting and bowling both were great and every time his team needed him to perform he lived up to the expectations and lead his team from the front. Look at the 1992 world cup how he regrouped a team which had no chance to even qualify for the semi finals and he regenerated his boys and made them "cornered tigers" who eventually won the prestigious cup. His good looks besides his batting and bowling made him something special.

It is a difficult question to answer. There are few who are known to be great all rounders. They are Garry Sobers, Viv Richard, Ian Botham, Richard Headly and Kapil Dev.
Can we who is the greatest ? They are all great.
