Tar remover, kerosene ( same as tar remover but smelly as heck.) Mineral spirits.

It's very important to wash the bug guts off the paint with car wash soap after day of every trip in the summer. Smashed bugs are highly acidic and will permanantly leave craters in the paint if they are left on the paint over a period of time. Bug crud comes off easily if you take care of it every day. It only takes two minutes to remove all traces. Good Luck.

WD-40 works great at removing bug and road tar. it will not hurt the paint either. just spray it on let it set for a minuet and gently rub it off. use a little more if you need to. once you are done wash the car as you normally would.
