If your partner cheated on you.... would / could you forgive them and allow them back into your life, or would one time be enough for you?..... for me once is too much i just could not.

What about you? how could you ever get back what was given away?

I would like to say that I would dump his @$$ like yesterday's eggs (which is what I've ALWAYS done in the past!). However, now I am married and have a child with my husband so it's a little more complicated.
I think I would owe it to my marriage and my child to attempt somehow to reconcile...but I would have a REAL hard time - because I just don't play that game!!! But if we were able to work it out and it happened again...that's it! I'll hire a PI so quick and take EVERYTHING I can get my hand's on in the divorce settlement. I DON'T PLAY THAT CHEATIN' GAME!!!!!

If I really loved my partner and they cheated, I dont think I could trust them again..If, on the other hand, we were staying together for the kids, I wouldnt really care if they cheated but I would just want them to be discreet so the kids didnt find out..

Once is way too much. Cheaters always cheat. I might forgive them enough to be friends, but they would be out of my bed for good.

I could not. I know that means I have no forgiveness in my heart and God frowns down upon me, but it's true. If my man gave himself (and that's how I would see it too, none of that men are Different B.S.) to another woman, I could never forgive him. The bond between us would be broken.

for me thats enough, once a person starts cheating they always go back and do it again. Besides the trust will no longer be there and no relationship can survive without trust

That's a hard decision to make, I think the Emotional cheating is tougher to get over than the actual physical deception, but it is all deceiving regardless.

Yes, everyone makes mistakes. If you honestly forgive your partner (but make sure that they really do feel bad about what they did) then they're good for at least one more chance.
