Being able to successfully complete a project in a timely manner and under budget would be one of them.

Organizational skills are critical. You need to track and intervene in a myriad of specific tasks and activities.
People skills are even more important. Nobody reports to you and you need them to complete tasks in a timely and effective manner and to report their progress to you, and they'll work as well with you as much as they enjoy working with you.
Communication, both written and verbal are equally critical. Mastery of various written communication tools such as Visio, Powerpoint, MS Project, will be required.
