Make a weekend of it and hit Madison on Saturday & Green Bay on Sunday. It will be the most memorial weekend of your life. Tailgate at both and bar hop around town afterwards. Add the history and the only place that may be able to compete would be Pittsburgh. Green Bay games are always sold out, win or lose. Can others say the same?

I've heard a lot of people (probably anti Packers) say that Green Bay is boring...nothing to do...but as an NFL town, there is no one who comes close...Green Bay is the most storied NFL team in history, from Lombardi, Hornung, and Starr to Favre...I've always wondered why the NFL Hall Of Fame is in Canton, Ohio and not Green Bay, Wisconsin...I suppose the first argument would be Jim Brown...but after that, what other argument would Canton, Ohio have?...

Then why was the Steelers ranked as the 9th greatest Franchise in all Pro Sports by ESPN. Yeah the Colts were ahead of them but I think they got there because they win, not as much for being known for the fan support. Steelers fans are everywhere and travel everywhere. Pittsburgh is the best. People who don't even like or know football go there and within a year they love the Steelers. It is just a part of the city. They don't even have to know football and they still love the Steelers. Yeah Green Bay is one of the top ones but if you are going to honestly rank a greatest(and I don't think you can in that it is an opinion thing) I think Pittsburgh is.

Even as a Philly boy, if we didn't have the Eagles to root for, I would have to decide between the Pack or the Steelers.
I was impressed by the news that the fans owned the team oh so many years ago. I like watching games on the idiot box when the Packers are at Lambeau. Great games. And I own a $300 Favre jersey that I wear around Philly.

most championships than any other team (12)
won first two superbowls
Superbowl trophy named after our great coach
Smallest population to have football team but yet one of the largest fan bases.
And yes, like the rest already said, we own our team, not some greedy a-whole that signs players to sell jerseys, prime example, Michael Vick for 10 years.
Oh and if you are ready for a real party, show up at Lambeau field 5 hours before the game starts and stay 5 hours after it ends.
Or go to ANY bar in Wisconsin on a Sunday afternoon and you will know, this is football country.

I think so. It's the smallest city to own a NFL team, the whole city rallies around the Pack regardless how bad or good they are. Oh yeah, 3 Super Bowl wins doesn't hurt either.

Hell, even nuns wear Steeler gear here in the 'Burgh. No disrespect to the Cheese Heads, but the Steeler Nation is international, as well as rampant in the US
