when they get hot in the middle of the night, get up and, half-asleep, carelessly smack the thermostat lever, to something like 50 degrees, so that when everyone wakes up, it's FREEZING in the frickin' house, and somebody now has to get up and brave the cold to turn the heat up to a reasonable/thawing temperature?
And let's not even start with how cold that makes the toilet seat...
Geez!

No, I prefer a nice warm temp of 74-78 degrees for sleeping. Now as far as the Bathroom, Pfft, if I even think of dreaming of wanting to almost kinda want to have an temptation for a cold bathroom, well then I'd just start wearing June Allison Bladder pads.

I no men once they hit the age of 50 they do that .My boss hes like 55 and he keeps the office freezing like 50 degrees. I h ave to actuall turn the portable heater on . An I'm a hot natured person whom gets nose bleeds if I over heat.So I think more men whom are menopausal at age 50 and up have to have the house and the office FREEZING....

Nope. However, I typically do like the house cooler than my wife does. She seems to always be cold while I am comfortable. Sometimes I will wear nothing but shorts around the house and she is fully dressed with her arms crossed looking at me all crazy. I think it is funny. Now we try to keep the house at an in between temp. Compromise is always best. :-)

lol mine does that!! the part that baffles me, is that if he's hot, he will still use the blanket.. once, i went in there and took the blanket out of the room and covered him with the sheet, and he said he felt better, but the next night he insisted on having the stupid blanket.. LOL

I have the same problem with my roommate. I want to kill her when she does that. Her room is closest to the thermostat.
