For shopping, Sawgrass Mills has over 350 stores-
There's tons of restaurants and a place called Wannado City there as well for your young daughter.sawgrassmillsmall.com.
For airboats, we always go to Holiday Park www.evergladesholidaypark.com.
For beach info, go to sunny.org. Beach parking is by the hour.
I don't know whereabouts you'll be at dinner time, so if I were you, I'd ask at your hotel.
Lastly, if your daughter likes animals, head to Flamingo Gardens, www.flamingogardens.org.

Look for Wannado City; a kid centered attraction way out west in Sunrise near Sawgrass Mills where kids can role play. Best shopping: The aforesaid Sawgrass Mills. Best air-boat rides: Go to the Miccosukee Reservation on US 41 West of Miami. Best beach for kids: Hollywood Beach, by the Broadwalk. Best Restaurant? There are hundreds. My recollection is that kids have sharply different restaurant preferences from their parents'.

Wannado City in Sawgrass Mills is great for kids (you maybe able to find coupons somewhere on line) and I think it's cheaper after 4pm and Sawgrass has wonderful outlet type shopping. As far as the best restaurants, there are too many to name. And take the Jungle Queen boat ride, I had fun with that.
By the way, it should take no longer than 3 hours to drive to Orlando.

check this site at http://www.sunny.org for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Visitors Bureau they got tons of information and maps..
a good 5 hrs drive from Ft. Laud. to Orlando and everything else is a good drive... got to remember nothing is in walking distance in this area. Best beach is Fort Lauderdale on A-1A
part of it is free and one is around 10 bucks per car with picnic table, bbq & restrooms.
Best time ever to be visiting us! Hope you have a great time!

Oh stop going on the internet. What a stupidly cruel thing to do to those poor innocent babies. Read and LEARN what it takes to properly find a home for them! If you are so lazy that you can't be bothered, take them to a rescue organization. They at least will do followup visits to the home(s) to ensure the kittens have not come to a bad end and that they are placed in a RESPONSIBLE home. Remember, once they leave your hands you have no control over what happens to them. There are ugly people who pose as "nice" persons, take the babies and use them as bait to train fighting dogs. Such kittens are immediately torn apart. Or they sell them to labs for experimentation (without anesthesia) where body parts can be removed or altered. The horror and pain of these two living hells is unimaginable. Compared to that, being mercifully euthanized with an overdose of anesthesia by kind people is far better. And YOU go on the internet where its dangerous and there are all kinds of scams and advertise these poor innocents! You must be very foolish or lazy or both. Stop it!
