i gotta buy a lot of it is overrated, and i agree im guilty of that too, but like u sed, some of the best ever, kool g rap, AZ, Scarface, a lot of theit stuff isnt positive, but theyre some of the greatest. positive hip hop is good though, and a lot of greats do do positive hip hop, like krs one. It also is a little how u define positive hip hop too though. For example, i gave u power by nas is a gritty song but also has a positive message about gun violence and such. Some people try and say LupeFiasco is the best alive cuz hes a positive rapper, and though he has great talent, that is an absurd statement. And also, yeah that song wasnt that great, but not just cuz it was a positive song IMO, there are also many negative songs that are bad, just as there are positive songs that are good. but i gotta agree 100% with you. I think one factor is how u judge a positive song, but overall, IMO its good, but definitly overrated. and gangstarr, lol, ur a funny mother f*cker haha.. i like the way u look at that lol.
