During my life, I have tripped over so many things. Fallen down so so many
ttimes. Sometimes I was able to get up easily, sometimes it
has taken a really long time. Sometimes I just lay there and rest a while (metaphorically speaking).
I also believe that the journey is more important than the destination. If you aren't sure what directiion you want to go,
just let yourself be for a while. If there is a desire within you
it "will" come up sooner or later and then you can move
toward it.
I also believe that life doesn't have to be the struggle that most of us think it does (I think that that comes from our puritanical background). I think of the Mediterrean countries where life is so much more enjoyed than here. They take time with lovely meals, take long vacations and seem to make enjoying life a main priority. Our main priorities are things like the bottom line, buying lots of toys and keeping up with the neighbors.
I've noticed that a lot of my friends, including myself, are simplifying their lives and trying to live below their means to
take some of the pressure off. I know that my main thing lately is to slow down, set small goals and make small, easy steps toward them. And I'm not married to succeeding in those goals. I may get half way there and want to change direction and I let that be ok. Maybe I would never have seen the second path if I hadn't started down the first.
Fear. Boy, I've had a lot of that. I would say to you not to push yourself so fast that you get fearful.. Go at your own pace. Let that be alright and don't allow anyone to judge you about it. Your gut is a good predicter to what you should do and how fast you should do it. You know, those eeky feelings
in your stomach when you feel fearful. Honor your body. When it is ready, then go in the direction that you are drawn.
I wish you the best on your journey and hope that you will be
very compassionate with yourself along the way.

If winter comes, can spring be far behind. Goals are our friends and not opponents. Life may disappoint you at particular point of time. Never stop. Disappointments are touch stones of your success. Understand the direction and take appropriate turns in cross roads, sharing your perceptions with those, who are more successful; and correct your course. You cannot stray fearing some thing, which is transitory. Every disappointment is a learning opportunity.which should unfold into an enjoyable flavour.

Subconsciously many factors had been at play , in the earlier tries. One, you may have aimed at certain immpossible goals and even at the start you may not have felt confident reaching it. Second, you may not have been very clear about the goals. Third, You should analyse whether fear came first or the disappointment. I think it was fear first.
Please , please break your final goal into small achievable goals and everytime you achieve the first goal you tend to get encouraged. fear , per se, is not bad. It makes you take cautious steps and not rash ones. But fear should not paralyse us from acting.
Lastly, donot forget to look back at many of your successes ( goals) you had . You easily overlook them. Do you ever remember joyful days as opposed to sad days? That is human tendency.

Fear stems from insecurity and perceived dangers ahead. It is the mind which anticipate mishaps, misery, poverty or insecurity or dangers to ones own kith and kin because of the havoc played by media. Observe the thought patterns but do not react. Simply observe as a pure, mute witness. Assert 'Iam the supreme self, I am god. No anxiety or misery or fear can shake me. I am all everywhere , ever. Assert this truth. Actually you are not the body mind complex. Relinquish the Ego which makes you to assume the fear. Be aware of your own SELF which is the SELF of the Cosmos and belong. Nothing can really shake you.

It is excellent to have goals in life. It provides the 'fuel' to fire our zeal, visualisation, motivation etc.
The expectation is the problem. We cannot assume unrealistic expectations and then feel 'disappointed' when the results do not match, simply because, we are not fully knowledgeable to judge completely the cause of failures, given the too many uncertainties of situation in practical life.
'No expectation' is the right attitude and key to life. Aim for the best, and if failure comes, enjoy doing the whole thing again, because, we should reasonably like to do any number of times what we liked to do (remember, it was OUR goal !)
Best wishes.

The journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step. Just try! But follow your passion. Your earlier dissappointments were lost opportunities. If you want something dont take no for and answer and you will get it. There has to be obstacles, or else acheivement would not be so sweet

remember that we dont always succeed in life, similarly its not necessary that a person will always fail in accomplishing goals. This is life. No matter how disappointed you are,One has to get up and try again. you cant just stop living. heard about phoenix? It rises from ashes no matter how many times it gets burnt. it needs courage to lead life because life isnt always easy and uncomplicated. try to become optimistic. This kind of thing happens with almost all the people. If I could forget my numerous past failiures, create better and bigger goals for myself and get back happily to work again so can you.

Disappointment is a part of life. Continue making goals and striving to achieve them. Only facing your fears will put them behind you. Rather than stressing the importance of the goal, remember that strength of character is your reward.

Everybody fears from a particular things when facing it for the first time. But people are brave enough to be cautious in the second time. In short, an experience makes the person fearless.

Fear is your partner in fact do not try to over come to it try to either ignore it or just find the cause for your fear. I mean do those things of which you are afread of. Ex. If you are scared to ride the bike than you must ride the bike to over come the fear of bike riding. If you want to learn the swim then scaring of water is not at all the logic.
So, dear freind do not think that fear is to overcome but it is the techniques to learn new things.
********* Best of luck******
