I am not highly sensitive to noise but I can hear things at lower volumes than most people can. So the loud music is not for me.

It drives me nuts too. I like to watch the Today show, but when they hosts go outside & the crowd is screaming in the background, I have to change the channel!
The annoying music when you call a business & get put on hold- sometimes it blares-
People on cell phones seem to think everyone is interested in their conversation-
Cars driving by with stereos blasting-
Mothers screaming at their crying babies-
The list goes on- Thanks for asking this. I wondered if other people felt this way.
Be blessed.

YES absolutely. I could never go to rock concerts because the volume made me physically ill. Loud, shrill noises still make me cringe.
I also have something close to "perfect pitch," if that really exists. I'm more "aural" than anything else; maybe you too?

Sometime after a long day, our minds are tired of all of the noise in the world...Hospital nurses have this a lot...Jus the humm of the lights...IV's..Monitors...Heart and lung sounds overwelms the body and silance at home is golden.
