Easy come easy go – it is not a universal principle about the nature of all things. This saying in fact in its deep structure very smarty carries a moral precept that is about human nature instead, that we must work hard for the things we want to achieve in life, and that we should not expect things to drift into our life without any effort on our part, for this will be against the nature of things in the world.

To most us life is like a gift that we learn to celebrate. And the most obvious of all the facts of is that life comes to us as easily as it often stays, allowing us to do our best in the meantime to make it worth our living. And then like life itself many other things in life come to us just as easily. When for example we are young and carefree laughter comes to us so naturally as if we were full to the brim with delight and cheerfulness, and this does last for sometimes, if not forever. Then I see that I am healthy, and despite me being careless about my health, I enjoy relatively good scores in this area of my life. Children perhaps are the most gargantuan example here, as they come to most of us, rich and poor alike, and don’t they come to stay? And then love that come for that child in the heart of his or her mother.

Life is bountiful, but we are excessive in our utilisation of things of life; we become foolishly spendthrift and extravagant when we have plenty, and does that plenty then last?

The problem is the world is full of people so we are really in a state of permanenet competition.

Example:

You want to write a book and be an author - Requires struggle as there are so many other people out there who want to write a book and who are better then you at it.

The best way to be is to live in the present moment and to change your shift of focus. Most people are focusing on that goal a few years down the line and all their focus is on that goal and they totally neglect the present moment. If you put all your attention into the steps to get there instead of the actual goal, eventually it will come. You also need to learn how to accept the impermanenet nature of the world and let things come and go from your life and enjoy them.......while they last.........without clinging or obssesive attachement........this will bring a lightness and joy to your life.

Otherwise you will be alwasy in a rat race, looking for that goal and when you achieve that goal it is not enough and you want more and more and so you set out to get it and then you die and there has been little enjoyment in your life. You have been looking for something in the outside world to bring you fulfillement which is a place where it can never be found as the ego will always want more.

By embracing the present moment and putting all your love and attention into that moment instead of drifitng between a past / future orientated despair - This is how you stop the struggle and start saying YES to life.

Can you imagine if some things did come easy? This world will be in a chaos! When we/us were children we didn't fully understand about life - didn't have to work, buy our clothes, take our clothes to the laundry, take ourselves to the doctors, pay rent, electric bills, find an apartment/home/condo, barbership, hair salon etc., etc. ...... life was easy - as adult mature adults, responsible adults we will have times that will be very hard and good times that we want to last forever. Well, the struggles in life mature us to help us make better decision, yet, we still can enjoy LIFE!

I would gently suggest life is as easy or difficult as one makes it for themselves. Of course, there are always those who are having a difficult life through no fault of their own, but generally speaking, they are the exceptions. In most cases, it is our attitude about life that brings on whether one thinks it is hard or easy. Decide on happiness, then follow the path which leads you to it. Choose to be happy each day in spite of what is happening around you. I know it can be done, because I do it day to day, and I did not always have a happy attitude. It is easy to fall into a negative mindset, it is equally easy to pull oneself out of it. You will find down the line that things aren't really as bad as you once thought, and indeed, you are so joyous to be alive, involved and blessed. Once you are able to do this, you will be surprised to see that the things you need are there when you need them.
Best wishes

it seems life is a struggle for several reasons. one can be that humans achieve more when they have to struggle or even suffer. another one is that a person may enjoy creating problems for someone else - making their life hard.
i dont think it is always easy come easy go - it is like that only if you do not appreciate that thing that came to you.
however overall i do agree that life is hard. i have to say again a think in part it is because of human nature - we find it hard - maybe it is not....

yes... memories stay! ;-)

Then, I see that nothing is for free or else humans are unable to value it enough...
Just take an environmental example: Clean air was free... Then We built stuff that polutted it... so it would Not be free, now We build ionizers and filters and so on... See?
Almost anything has a commercial value!

Planning a life is not easy at all, as many plans (if not most of them) turn into something different afterwards, but the entertaining part of it is precisely that: working the puzzle of variables and effort, and then observing the outcome!

Life is a HUGE puzzle game!!!

Good luck, big hugs! ;-)

Nope, because here is a secret about life: You don't enjoy or respect the things you don't have to work for. It's the whole difficult PROCESS that makes the thing itself worthwhile. A lot of things in life do come easy, that's precisely why you don't appreciate or respect them.
