I've only met 5 people with my name and one of them is my aunt who I was named after. It's not a strange name at all and most people know at least one person with my name but apparently it's not so common. When I was growing up, the only other girl in school with my name was 4 years younger than me.

I won't reveal it but I will say that there are a few songs (3 that were once somewhat popular, one from the 60s, two from the 80s) with the song title being my name. Oh, and the Beatles mention my name in one song of theirs.

Well I suppose it's a bit unusual, but not so much that it's not pronounceable or anything. I did know two other girls growing up with the same name and I also share it with the wife of a famous billionaire as well as the main character of a TV show I watch on occasion. I've seen my name in a few interesting places :)

My name is pretty common. Except for some people seem to think its spelled Shelley instead of Shelly, or they ask if its short for Michelle. I guess thats why I named my kids an unusual name.

It's not unusual, but isn't all that common here in the States. In Ireland and Scotland, it's much more common. and no reveals here...sorry.

I think it's kind of unusual. My real first name is Victoria, but that's not the unusual part. I go by Tori.

Well I think it is unusual
But I have met people with the same name and some might think it is quite common.
The first syllable of my name is Mal which is an abbreviation for everything bad.
Whether you think that is accurate or not is up to you
