We go to Bike week in Laconia NH every year, and do burn-outs every night. Our bikes were really taking a beating. Others people who used our board would later complain about their bikes feeling the effects as well. We now bring up Beater Bikes, (used bikes we pick up for free) and fix them up good enough to ride. They overheat, and don't run great after a while, but it's not our regular bikes getting it. And we spend the year fixing the beaters up again.

If there's no "rev limiter" on the bike and you rev it to max rpm's, the engine can throw a rod (connecting rod) through the bottom of the crankcase.
I saw it happen. A salesman was fooling around with a customer's bike in the back of the shop.....and BLAM-O. Luckily the bike was in for a crash estimate. We told the insurance agent it was totaled LOL

Every driveline part will be stressed and worn, and if you lose control you could destroy a lot of cosmetic parts.
Do this and you will also destroy your bike's reputation and resale value.
That's why they suggest buying a used car (or bike in this case) from a little old lady who drives to Church not from Wiley Coyote at the end of the drag strip,

KB forgot 1 big one- overheating! The cooling system is designed with the assumption that the bike will be moving when the motor is running hard; so heat will build up QUICKLY!

Depends on how big of a burnout your doing.
The only thing that's really going to get worn is the rear tire.
The engine isnt going to overhead unless you are doing a burnout for half an hour.
Clutch will get a little more wear than usual.
Sprockets and chains will be fine.
Also, little chunks of rubber will get flung around the underside of your bike.
Basically, It''s not going to do anything harmful except for wearing out the tires
