This version of the World Cup has first of all a preliminary round comprising 16 teams in groups of 4 each and each group has two strong teams and two 'minnows' each.
Unfortunately, two strong teams Pak and my beloved country were knocked out by minnows in the preliminary rounds!
Now the eight teams remaining teams were named as Super Eights (imagine only eight normal teams in the world and all them being called Super Eights! Just to ignite the passion of the gullible public). Each of these eight teams is scheduled to play six matches with the remaining six teams of other groups.
Now, it seems that Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, and South Africa, on the basis of matches played till yesterday, will make it to the next round, that is, semi-finals.
