my awesome mom and dad who adopted me when i was 10 years old brought me up. they spared me from the life of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse i had grown up with. they turned me into the loving wonderful, beautiful woman i am today. thanks for this question, April. it's awesome. happy day:)

When I was 3 my mom left my two older brothers and my younger sister. When I was 5 my parents were divorced. My dad raised all of us kids a long with my grandma or my oldest brother when my dad was working. I really never had anyone besides my grandma as a mom. When I was eight i pretty much took care of myself doing the cooking, and cleaning for the family because i was the oldest female living in the home.

My Mum, my Dad worked away so we only saw him every few weeks, he didn't really have a hand in our upbringing, he was more like a visitor.

My Mum's parents helped a lot, they were the best. When my Mum died when I was 16 and both her parents within months, my Dad took over, but he wasn't really sure of what to do!!! he married again very quickly and she threw me out when I was 18. My childhood ended very abruptly and my family was torn apart.

My Dad has two more kids now, he hardly sees them either as he is still working away, it;s about time his wife got off her backside and got a job!!!!

My mum mainly; although my dad was around (as in living with us), I didn't see him a lot because he used to work. It does have an effect when you're older definitely, as even now I feel like I can turn to my parents for very different things.

My mom left when I was 2 weeks old, so my grandma raised me. I also had an aunt who lived there. She was a tyrant. My dad wasn't around much. I moved out of gram's at 16. She died a year later.
