Is there going to be any more movie adaptations of some other DC comics, because the only comics I think that they have made into a movie is Superman, Batman, The Flash, Catwoman and Supergirl (Which I didn’t get because Superman was the only survivor from the planet Krypton so how could she have the same powers has him?). I am probably wrong about this but I was wondering why they haven’t made movies with other DC characters like The Question, Green Lantern or the Martian Manhunter.

I keep up on the subject of comic book movies, and, regarding the DC comic properties, here is what I know: Wonder Woman will definitely be produced within the next 2 years, the Flash will definitely be made around the same time or very shortly after Wonder Woman, and Capt. Marvel, (or SHAZAM as he is sometimes called) is a definite movie planned by Warner Bros. I have not read any concrete plans to have a Green Lantern movie made, but it doesn't mean it won't happen. Green Lantern would be a kickin' movie; the special effects would be great for this character! The Question is too much of a seminal character to warrant a movie, and I doubt the Martian Manhunter would be made into a movie, either, despite his popularity amongst DC readers. The information I have given to you is from this website: www.comics2film.com. The sequel to Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, is in pre-production as I write. Again, here are the known characters that have definite plans for movies: Wonder Woman, The Flash, Capt. Marvel, Batman, and Superman. If all of this isn't great enough, there has been rumor----and just rumor----that a Justice League movie may be made within a few years! Still, I have to say, I would like a Green Lantern movie. Regarding Supergirl, she is Superman's cousin, and left Krypton shortly after Kal-El in similar circumstances, but arrived on Earth later. They both have similar genetic traits as they are cousins, so it only stands to reason they both would develop similar powers. Don't think about the God awful Supergirl movie; it is real bad. Supergirl has actually traveled through time and is now a member of the 30th century super team, The Legion of Super-Heroes. About 20 years ago, DC "killed" of Supergirl in the comic Crisis on Infinite Earths, but they have now changed the storyline. There is one more DC comic property that just might get made into a movie, and that is the absolute best graphic novel and classic, Watchmen. The director from 300 has been saying he is planning on making a Watchmen movie, as he is a huge fan of the comic book. If you haven't read Watchmen, I strongly suggest you try to get a copy! Hope this answers your questions.

It all has to do with popularity. I would love to see a movie of Martian Manhunter movie. I don't know that he is popular enough to carry the box office to the point of practicality.
You should try superherohype.com and upcomingmovies.com. Superherohype gives daily updates on comic book movies.
Here is what I understand to be on some level of development for DC to the silver screen:
Superman Returns 2 (2009)
The Dark Knight (2008)
The Flash
Wonder Woman
Green Lantern
Green Arrow
Justice League
Superman v. Batman (I think this one is a no-go, but I still see it on websites from time to time).

You're forgetting about "Constantine" with Keanu Reeves. That's also based on a DC book.
Also, Superman isn't the only survivor from Krypton- pre Crisis there was the city of Kandor (which was shrunken down and preserved by Braniac before the explosion), the villans trapped in the Phantom Zone, and Argo City, which miraculously survived the explosion due to the efforts of Jor El's brother Zor-El to shield the city. Supergirl is Zor-El's daughter, Superman's cousin.
Post Crisis, the current Supergirl is also Superman's cousin- but she was put into an escape ship as a teenager (and put into suspended animation) and was supposed to follow her infant cousin Kal-El towards Earth. However, something happened (I forget what) and she ended up on Earth in Gotham Harbor some 30 years after her cousin...

As far as Supergirl goes, Search on her in Yahoo Search or Wikipedia and they will have a detailed explanation as to how she survived Krypton's explosion. As to the Flash, there wasn't a movie of him; it was a short-lived TV series. I wish it would have lasted. Green Lantern or the Manhunter would be cool to have shows about though, which Green Lantern would you want, and who do you think should play them? and in a show about the Manhunter, who should play him?

while I always liked Green Lantern I don't think it would make a good movie. His whole powers is FX and I think it would be over kill in the movies. Whats the fun of a hero who can make anything he can think of. Sound like kids stuff. Right. X- Men had to make everyone costumes black b/c so many in one movie looked silly. I think JLA wouldn't for for the same reason. Also all mutants have pretty much the same story about their powers. How can they tell the back story of five or more characters in one movie.
