Astrology is an "exact" science. Humans are much more complicated than their Sun sign. And are actually a mixture of many apsects that their spirit absorbs at the time of birth, and they leave the protection of their mothers body/spirit!
They say the heavenly bodies have moved over thousands of years, and there is actually a weeks difference now in the signs. In that the first week that goes to a sign according to the old astrology. Actaully belongs to sign before it, according to Sidereal astrology.
But one needs to do a birth chart to understand themsleves as an individual. And a compatibilty chart to see if they can have a lasting relationship, as we all know there are signs that are supposed to get along, and don't last a month. And signs that aren't supposed to get along, and stay together for Life! It has more to do with how the peoples Sun and Moon, and Venus, (which is just the playful side of Love), and Neptune, (which is the deeper side of Love), relate in both their charts.

Congrats you're a Leo. Best sign in the Zodiac in my fair oppinion. As Leo's we're bright, friendly and charismatic. Loyal to a fault, and a tad materialistic. We love giving and recieving gifts, and we love nice things. We are also stubborn, fiery tempered, and a little prone to displays of ego. You'd have to get a birth chart to determine compatibility, though in my personal experience, I wouldnt marry a Scorpio. They're a little too like us, but instead of bright and flambuoyant, add moody. And MAN can they hold a grudge. Great freinds for a Leo, but not a roomate, or a long term partner. You'd likely have great luck with an air sign.

Technically I am a Libra since I was born 25 minutes after Virgo, but I consider myself a Virgo. When I got my horoscope chart done, I was mostly Virgo- yes I'm on the cusp and usually the autumn solstice.
