well see this is bout my ex.i called him but he wasnt home. well hes JUST my frnd now ok? so i wanna call him just 4 fun as i didnt see him 4 2 days due to our xams....we r in the same class.....but im afraid 2 call cause i dunno what he'll think n im afraid what his mom will think.........what do i do?

Well if you are so worried about what his mom will think then you will freak out if he doesn't respond to you in a nice reassuring way. Think twice about calling him as you are not secure enough to handle the consequences if things don't go your way. And stop kidding yourself that you are still friends as you obviously have greater feelings than him.

Why don't you text him a message on his cellphone just saying hi and asking him what he has been up to and how he is.
You could also e-mail him just a short and sweet note.
Don't worry what his mom is going to say, you guys are friends and friends are allowed to call one another.
If you must call him, then call and leave a message with his mom that you called just to find out how he is.

What is wrong with calling a friend anyway? No one should have any problems with it, assuming you really just want to be friends.

not really a good idea to call unless he knows you are going to call or asked you to or if you have something really really important that can't wait..like you are bleeding and dying...or..unless his mom has that cookie recipe that you have been wantng, etc

call him again, when you know he's gonna be in. tell him how you feel. he could end up feeling the same. it may bring you closer again. it's always difficult. don't worry, just don't leave it too late.
