Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear........English Nationalism rearing its ugly head again is it?
Gordon Brown is the Chancellor of the Exchequer of the United Kingdom [Westminster] Parliament, and the fact that he also happens to be Scottish is irrelevant.
If he ever was to become Prime Minister, and that may not be a foregone conclusion, then presumably he will continue to do what is best for the UK.
Being entirely cynical about the whole business, the fact that he is a politician may be enough to put you off him, and the Labour Party may be in free-fall to oblivion, but just what exactly is the alternative?

Lesser of many evils i guess. To be fair what choice is there? And also the point that Gordon Brown is a liar is a little trivial, he's a politician!
What bothers me is the idea of a Scottish PM. Regardless of how pathetic the Tories are, I firmly believe the English will vote a Scot out.

I know my views will not be popular, but when Tony Blair steps down who else is there other than Gordon Brown to take his place. As chancellor he has had to make many decisions, not all popular I agree, but he has done a fairly good job, low unemployment and a strong economy are testament to that. As Prime Minister I think we will see a totally different person to Blair. I do not see him strutting the world stage and rubbing shoulders with George W Bush. If David Cameron wins the next General election he will try to copy the Blair style, and that would be a big mistake.

Sadly the Conservative Party is not worth its name and until it finally dies and makes room for a credible, capable opposition with the courage to address this country's problems we are stuck with the incumbent traitors.
