6/6 is the normal eye sight

There is no normal eyesight .Most people have varying degrees of properly focused images on the retina (20/20 or 6/6) and would not be aware of a slightly out of focus image
(+or- 0.125 diopters).

As we get older the muscles that change the shape of the lens in the eye begin to stiffen making near objects hard to see.So we have to get spectacles for reading or doing anything close to our eyes

(at last, a Mens Health question which is not about penis length!)

20/20 is for airline pilots, most of us do not have that. Many people need to use reading glasses after age 50, sometimes sooner. As long as sight is OK for normal life, no problems.
