huh? well, its a stereotype that Hollywood has kept going...that is why I don't go to movies anymore..they are all remakes anyway with very little original thoughts

it is perhaps a matter of choice and a matter of what the public want to see. this has also been a very successful formula and has worked for many years.

one must realise also that these movies are on average 3 hours long and are very family orientated thus 2 or 3 generations are often used and values and moral lessons are taught.

once again it has to do with what the public wants to see as often many films that do not follow the norm, do not do so well.

Welcome to Bollywood. Actually it's because they are doing a lot of political cover (using coded messages) to prevent fines, kidnappings and beheadings. Even kissing scenes are band in India.

Because that's their taste regarding movies.
Quite weird.
Different societies, different ethnicity, think different, behave different, develop different values, etc.
Didn't you notice latins have different behavior and tastes than americans?
