Door Open ??? Noooooo - Cat gets in and tries to push me out of bed to sleep next to his beloved Daddy !!

I also must shut and lock my doors. I have 3 cats, or I should say my 3 young grandsons have one cat each and those cats insist on bumping their heads against my door until they find a way to open it, unless it is locked.
I can not stand the sound of animal foot steps on my wood floors and I also can not stand animals in bed with me because I am a light sleeper.
Also, I sleep much better, when the bedroom is darker and more cozy.

Open. If a house invader managed to get through the front door then getting through the other doors in the house would be a cinch. What would be the point of closing any door?

We use to keep it shut until one night I got up half asleep and walked into the
shut door. Now we leave it open because we have a night light in the washroom.
It guides me to wherever I'm headed. Usually to the kitchen for water.

I have to have it shut and if I wake up and find it open I close it. I also have to have the closet door closed too. I don't want nothing to get me!

I have a screen door to keep the cats out, but they know how to open it so I have to keep the regular door shut now.

closed locked with a 12 guage pointed towards the door set off by a string.....no just kidding I just keep it closed not locked or anything I have dogs so no fear here.
