WE SHOULD NOT GO BLINDLY FOR A CELEBRITY FOR THIS POSITION…
We will have to go for a global search for a coach in team India... he should have good IQ, education in academics and sports science, knowledge of human anatomy and all related dynamics... trajectory, speed, impact, bounce, rebound etc in respect of ball and bat and their handling…
Usually professional sports qualification would make one acquire this detailed knowledge…

It depends on the coach they select. In a way it would be a good thing because indian cricketers are arrogant and the local coach may find it hard to control their egos whereas a foreign coach could careless about their popularity in the country and deal with them the way they should be. Except with the exception of Sachin, all other star players are egotistical and you definitely need a coach who can kick a s s when needed.

When my elders used to say that Indians worked very well under the British for we as a race work better under strict discipline only,i never used to like what they said.Over the years i found yes,in the absence of strict discipline we are a lazy race.Having said this i do not think it should be anybody's case that no Indian knows how to enforce discipline. In my opinion a strong Indian coach will not only be able to communicate better with the players on account of the home language advantage but will have that Indian emotional touch too.

I dont think so. Infact an Indian coach will be able to understand the psyche of the players much more easily than a foreign coach

I fully agree with you. To add to your views, I would also like to mention that foreign coaches can be expected to get better respect from Indian players especially the senior players as compared to Indian Coaches

No we don't need foreign coach to win the matches. We are not going to win matches unless we improve our standard of domestic cricket.
We have to produce fast and bouncy track to help the batsmen to adjust in the abroad and also to encourage the youngsters became fast bowler.
We have to much medium pacer or swing bowler but not single fat bowler to terrify the apposition

unfortunately those advanced coaching methods dont suit us,we need some one low profile, determined, result oriented who understands our cricket scenario better,a indian coach is only the soultion,a ranji state team coach would be a better choice
