Hi!

I'm turning 21 soon and I plan to apply for a gun licence. I want to know if I can conceal the gun in my car. If so, do I have to apply for another type of licence or what?

Thank you!

Gun possession in a car is allowed if the owner is licensed and has a permit to carry outside residence.

First of all you do not need a license to own a gun in California. To carry one in a car it must be inaccessible to the driver or passengers and unloaded and locked as well as be in a locked compartment.

Unconcealed and unloaded. Make sure the bullets are locked in the trunk and your gun is empty and in plain sight inside the car
