Deffinitely Mum. I was brought up in the North East where it's Mam but it sounds really harsh. Moved to the North West where it's Mum so that's what my kids call me. Mom sounds American to me which is fine but we need to keep some of our own words.

I am from the UK and have always said mum. I have always been lead to believe that mom is an American term.
