Frankly, I don't know. Maybe it depends on the cause of my distress, that I find solace in different things. Funny, But I never thought of this!!! Thought provoking indeed!!

Sitting on the beach with my husband and watching sun rise or moon rise, I watch the waves roll in and for some reason I find that very comforting. I always feel better after an hour or so.

I enjoy reading my Bible and laughing with my grandchildren. They are both very comforting to me. Thank you for your question.
