Endometriosis, vulvodynia (pain of the vulva-the external genital area and yes the pain can cause radiation to the inside when it comes to pain) are just a couple of examples of things that could cause pain with intercourse.

I would recommend getting in touch with the dr to have this evaluated to see what could be causing this.

if the guy'z peepee is too big then one of the probable causes can be that he is hitting the bladder of the female... other wise it is just the fact that the vagina is being opened up.. the more relaxed ur muscles are the lesser the pain.. but there still will be some amount of pain at all times. also pain is more at time of loosing virginity, and less as u get useto sex
