I'd appreciate your thoughtful answers . And I, for one, am sick to see just how bad it has gotten . No matter what he says , no matter what he does, they have such an over-riding Hatred that I believe they have lost the ability to Think . My sources for that ? My opinion and any psychologist will tell you that when someone is filled with hatred, they have lost the ability to think .
Proof. . . Hatred Blocks Rational Thought !!
What is your opinion ?

God doesn't approve of hate in any form. when I listen to a Democrat speak I almost feel sorry for them it's as if their only purpose in life is to hate Bush. think about it if you take Bush out of the mix what goals would they have. They would be completely lost . the only way a Democrat can get through a single day is to wait on the President to say something and then reply with the opposite.

I don't think God ever approves of hatred, and I also don't think that's your real question. If it were, I could just as easily counter with, "Do you think God approves of taking a country to war on shoddy premises?" and we would be at an impasse.
I think that perhaps you are overestimating the strength of the feelings that liberals have for the President. Just because a pundit spouts off about him doesn't mean he really hates him--it means he's earning his living by flapping his lips. That's actually how all pundits, both left and right, make their money. That's their job!
I am about as liberal as they come, and I don't hate President Bush. I am disappointed in him, and I feel sorry for him. I think he is so far down in his own private bunker that nothing is getting through. I have been angry about things he has said, and things he has done, but I have never hated him. The truth is he isn't worth the energy. I can't really think of any politician who is.

Earnest, actually, what I am most guilty of is neither blindness nor denial; it is impatience. I rarely pop into this forum, because I find there is so much baloney from people who don't know what they are talking about that it's tiresome to be here. I applaud your ability to be a top contributor in this forum--I could never do it because I have a lower tolerance for idiocy than you do. You're just a much more patient person than I am. I seem to have been absent the day they passed out that particular virtue. (But I got a double helping of both sense of humor and sense of irony, so I am cool with it.)

I don't think he would disapprove. We are all given the ability to think and speak for ourselves. I would say that God would disapprove of anything breaking the law to show hatred towards the President...whether he be Democrat or Conservative either way. The Bible specifically says to "obey the laws of the land". Since peacefully protesting is a constitutional right, I don't think God would have any problem with protesting or anything like that. Breaking the law out of pure hatred, however, is a different matter. Whether or not the President is a Republican or Democrat, God would probably approve of a peaceful protest. I would also say hatred isn't necessarily an ungodly quality. The Bible says many things are an abomination to God.

The thing is, you can only lie 95% (or more) of the time to people who aren't completely turning a blind eye to it so many days in a row before they justifiably no longer listen to a word you say because they, again justifiably, just don't believe any of it. Politicians are on an entirely different level of deceit then the average public to the point that people don't even realize when there being manipulated. That's why anyone believes him at all still. It's not that people who believe him are stupid it's just they can't even imagine or comprehend the level of skill with which there lied to on a daily basis or even want to think that there president would do that to them. And being constantly lied to, and knowing it, tends to make one angry at the person doing the lieing, that's just human nature, what liberals hate him for is the stuff he's done that he lies to cover up from fellow rank and file conservatives, that in there trusting state they always believe the lie, taking the bait on hook, line and sinker. There's an old saying, or if not there should be, "Don't trust the words of a known lier, don't even listen to the words a compulsive lier"

I was just reading some questions y'day where libs were attacking republicans for their belief in God - so do those people really care what God thinks of them? Of course, I'm not categorizing ALL libs - just the far leftys that make the rest look bad.
I think hate is bad - no matter what your political belief is - I'm sure the libs could come up with plenty of things they think republicans do/say that are hateful. Again, it's not everyone, I think the majority of people are good - it's just the ones that are far out there - they make the most noise and get the most attention. People believe EVERYTHING they hear from the media so naturally they think EVERYONE thinks the way those few people on tv do. We really need to wake up and start thinking for ourselves, it's unfortunate that we're so gullible.

I agree hatred certainly does block rational thought.
Just like the hatred many americans have for anyone from the middle east.
We decide to go to wars based on hatred and revenge, our media demonifies countries like iran and iraq,
I think "god" is more concerned with all the death and suffering that's going on in the world because of our hatred, than he is about people who don't like bush.
My guess, god doesn't give a crap about patriotism
After all, america isn't heaven right? If we are willing to break a commandment and kill for it, than isn't that placing our country before god?

I don't think God would want anything to do with either political party. Politics tend to be rather corrupt. I'm a lib and I personally don't "hate the pres" I don't like him too much, but hate's a strong word...And why is it that because you say you don't like the president and what he's doing that automatically means you hate America? Is it not our right as Americans to be able to SAY that we don't approve of the president if we feel that way? I don't know any lib who HATES America. I love my country and the fact that I can come on this site and speak my mind.

The man won two elections. It was an affront to them. That over half the country stood up against them and the Media must not be tolerated. True Nazism. Hatred is easier to keep going than logic it requires no reason and no justification.

No. I don't think that god approves of the liberal hatred of our President. He did give us free will for a reason. We have to make a choice every day, do we want to be tolerant of my fellow brothers and sisters to help them find their way out of the darkness, or do I choose to join them in hatred by condemning them for their views and hating them in return? Gods doesn't like hatred probable for the reason you stated. It leads us to make irrational decisions.
