worst still i couldnt reformat it. pls help.thanks always

High likelyhood you have a bad disk which would need replacement under warranty.

Quick diagnostic you can try - make sure nothing is shorting out the exposed circuitry & pins
Also make sure your supply can handle the load after the drive is powered in . Some cheap supply's just collapse after reaching 3/4 th or so of their rated load.

dear it seems not the problem of hard disk
it can be the problem of power supply
i have also faced the same prob. with the system.
pls contact ur vendor this is realted with motherboard and powersupply connection
:)
