Well the cartoon/comic strip charcter's father was a barber (this was mentioned in a cartoon where Charlie Brown won a gift certificate for a haircut and said his father was a barber and he only had one hair).
Now based on the way Charlie's hair looks I probally would pay his dad to take his son to a decent hair stylist, or hair club for boys.

Cut my hair, trim my beard, whatever else a BARBER does, cause that's what he is.
BTW, I had 3 brothers, and my Dad used a home haircutting kit on us! For an amatuer, he wasn't bad!
