Well, in Philosophy, this kind of question is a fallacy known as Contradictory Premises. People might find this question confusing because when the premises of an argument contradict each other, there can be no argument. If there is an irresistible force, there can be no immovable object. If there is an immovable object, there can be no irresistible force. Get it?

Wow you better brush up on your fallacies. Just because A is true it doesn't mean B is true as well. That's just like that question lawyers often use, "is this the knife you used to stab the victim?" if yes, you're guilty. if no, what did you use to stab the victim?
God can create a heavy stone, yes. But our definition of heavy is different from His definition of heavy. (Example, if you say, can God get hurt? like how? it's impossible for an Almighty Being to be vulnerable unlike us humans.) And to take it down to human terms, nothing is bigger than the one who created it. The Creator will always be one step ahead.
Your question is fallacious. Another thing, why would you want God to create a heavy stone? Didn't He already create a world specifically a planet that is 75% water, floats in space, rotates around an invisible axis, is just the right distance from the Sun, where mankind and animals live?

God is all powerful if he made the earth and that is just his footstool do you honestly think he can make a rock to heavy for him? Who is this GuitarMa.. you obviously know nothing about the bible if you did you wouldn't be saying that. Even if you didn't believe in God or anything the Bible is the oldest known history book there is. So that goes to show how ignorant you really are. Second of all God knows there is evil, he allows things to happen for a reason like a person can learn from the mistakes that happen. If God was to stop all the evil and bad things that happen then we would be all robots and he wanted us to choose how we live our lives. God is not stupid he knows what is going on. And everybody has done something wrong so don't act Innocent.

Yes, he could but he is GOD he can do all things big and small
he is eternal meaning since he created the universe he could lift anything he creates. Read the book of Revelations in red ink are the words that god spoke himself and he said "i am the alpha and the omega, the begginig and the end, the first and the last." God is almighty there is nothing he can't do he can do everything. He even knows what u will do in 5 months or when you are like 50. He even knows your thoughts. You know the saying "trust your gut" that is god telling you not to do something because he knows u can't handle it. Trust god he can do everything!

If God were to have the will to build a stone of any size or weight that He would not be able to lift then you should believe that He can. There is no other way to look at this. It is not a conundrum. Whatever God wills, God delivers.
It really is that simple.

You have asked an illogical question. I mean you are asking a question that has no point to it except to stump our human logic. Which you've done by creating a paradox. The thing is though is that God would never entertain this to begin with because it has nothing to do with us. God does all things for us.
The other thing I would look at is your definition of almighty.
And I would think about a God that still loves you no matter what you do. We as humans are not very good at that.

No, I do not believe that God would or could create a stone that even He could not lift any more than He would or could commit a sin as He is sinless.
Some things are logical and others defy principle. In this case God's principle(s).

First of all my question to you is do you believe in GOD? And if so there comes a point in your walk with Christ where you have to go beyond the questions we don't have the answers to and have faith in Him. Besides what purpose would God have to create such a stone. If it's for your own belief, to see a miracle of some sort, the Pharisees didn't believe who Jesus was, and He performed many miracles far beyond creating a useless rock just for someone to believe.

Hmm... quite simple actually. You are not God , so how do you know if he can create it or not ? And even if he can , how do you know if he can't lift the stone . I trying to reverse the question back to you . Because you are not God , you don't know what he can and not do . So all-mighty as he is or not , i think there's no say among us .

I think that God could create a stone so heavy he could not lift it. Because if it was that heavy it means he wanted it to be heavy and if he wanted it to be that heavy it means that he did not want to pick it up or lift it. But i also think that if he wanted to lift it he really could. He would ether make it less heavy or himself more stronger.
