According to one now-forgotten supermarket tabloid, it's been done in Australia. A fertalized ovum was implanted on the outside of an intestinal wall (inside the abdomen), hormones were administered to help the baby be carried to term and it was delivered by Cesarian Section.

I don't necessarily believe this actually occurred, but women have carried babies to term, etc. without a uterus . . . .

It sounds like you are having a bad pregnancy night? :) I often thought that when I was nearing the end of my first pregnancy. It would be nice to change places with my husband for the "not to fun" aspects of being pregnant...well and giving birth. :)
