Is there any other kind of jealousy?
You need to ask yourself is this type of smothering love what you want, something to wrap around you like a straight jacket all warm and secure. Or, would you like something a bit freer like a blanket that can be stolen from you in the middle of the night whilst you are sleeping? Hmmm.
But, reason has nothing to do with jealousy. It is the unreasonable suspicion that your mate is cheating on you with another. That is jealousy.
So why are you stalking the Rabbi?

Unreasonably usually means they are abusive or controlling, once I find that out, I get away from this person asap because it only gets worse.
The short answer is--you can't deal with it, they need to seek help.

my first wife 16 when I married her, me 19 nearly drove me mad with her jealousy. I wish I had of taken us to a psychiatrist before she ended up having the affair which ended our marriage after 4 years.

I dont' think you can without some sort of brainwashing..... Its just the nature of some people. I'd say it is a trust issue. Either change your ways a bit or let them go.
