well these are fantasy books most of them are trilogy's:

The black jewels trilogy by Anne Bishop--- i just finished reading the last one and If you like fantasy with a bit of magi then this is by far the best the first book is a bit complicated at first but one you read its heaps interesting

The demon child Trilogy Jennifer Fallon---- the first book in this is called Medalon---the second book in the series is called treasure keep--- the last one is called Harishini---this a great series as well

Old kingdom trilogy by Garth Nix---- BK1= Sabriel Bk2= Lirael Bk3= Abhorsen----- Definate must read this is an amazing series.

Pellinor Trilogy by Alison Croggon----- Bk1= The gift, Bk2=The riddle Bk3= The crow......... my 2nd fav fantasy series its the best

Eragon and Eldest by christipher paolini

not sure if your a girl or boy but if your a teenage girl then my fav young adult books are by meg cabot the best is THE MEDIATOR series... princess diaries..... 1-800-WHERE-R-U and books by Sarah Mlynowski such as frogs and french kisses, bra's and broomsticks..... sweetvalley series is GREAT as well but thats only if you can find all 60+ books lol

Lithium for Medea by Kate Braverman (tho it may be difficult to find because libraries and bookstores don't tend to carry Kate Braverman's things)

Drown by Junot Diaz, both Diaz and Braverman are post-modernist authors so if you are going to enjoy them you have to be open to something very different
