YES this is indeed worth mention and soon. The symptoms you describe are very typical of Cardio-vascular disease and you are showing signs of decreased blood circulation to your extremities.

Sounds like Raynaud's Syndrome (sp?).
It's a circulation problem that can be either minor or major.
I have it, myself.
When either my fingers or toes get to feeling cold, they first turn a very waxy white color... no blood color at all... then, when I try to warm them, they get large splotches of dark blue, with some of the white... my mom, a nurse, has said that the symptoms are often referred to as having red, white, and blue hands and feet.

I am in my forties, and have had this problem only in recent years. When it is on my hands, my hands look very bruised, like I've been slapping a brick wall.

Here is an article about it that might help you further: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/raynauds-disease/DS00433/DSECTION=2

This sounds like a circulation problem to me. I myself have anemia and my hands and feet do this sometimes. Definitely talk to your doctor about it. What will it hurt just asking?

I suffer with the same sort of thing. I've only really noticed it this winter so just assumed it was 'cause I was cold & I'm only 17 so things like that don't cross my mind...
Reading this I'm quite worried so gonna get down my doctors this week.
