I have to write a fantasy paper for my journalism class. My professer is making us write the paper to be 5000 words or 12 pages. Should I go for the 12 Pages or the 5000 words?

First go for con tense to see what figure your closest to.Then round it off to the nearest 12 pages or 5000 words. Personally I'd rather count 12 pages rather than 5000 words. I imagine they are pretty close anyway.

Go for the 12 pages and adjust your font size so it is a pretty good bit larger than the default setting but not OBVIOUS.

Neither. Your paper's going to STINK- if all you're worried about is the length of it. You write the story FIRST, & THEN trim it back to fit whichever comes closest to its size. Your Professor KNOWS that GOOD stories usually need to be trimmed BACK- NOT added too!
