I have some shallow information and read about it on the net.I would like to know how strong they are in your society and does their way of life affect you in any way,as does a powerful religious faction in Turkey of which virtual leader lives in America now. They are very strong in Turkey both in finance and politics.

I am really very sorry that I couldn't say what meant.
I just wanted to have some information about Mormonism in the USA.
The faction,of which members may find my question abusive and is an Islamic one, functions in Turkey. The leader of it,Fethullah Gülen, lives in the protective custody of American intelligence services.

Your question is not abusive. I do not think the LDS church has any influence in politics other than an LDS member is considering running for President. The best place to get information on the LDS Church is their website which will go into detail the beliefs of the church. If you read most of the comments on the yahoo q&a, you'll be confused as there is a lot of misinformation out there. The church will gladly mail you a copy of the Book of Mormon and have missionaries come by to see if you are interested, and explain and answer any questions you may have. A lot of people are converting to this religion, and it's worth your time to take a look. I converted in my 20's when I met my husband, was formally Methodist. I love the church and the teachings, and I am proud of my association and have learned many things from the church which have made my life, and my kid's lives better for it. Best wishes to you, and happy Easter!
