The only reason why Sanjaya would still be on the show was if everyone in India was voting for him, because no one in their right mind would vote for him to stay.

stop being a racist pig, I'm from India and this is the first time I am hearing the person after doing a Google search - I am afraid almost NOBODY knows him in India there is a 12 hour time gap.
We do have an indian version of American Idol in India called "Indian Idol" and the quality of singers is much better -
Western music sucks - you don't have melody in voice (except for a few like Stevie Wonder) and Sanjaya is an American by all means (though he may be playing the India card for sympathy)
I do hope he doesn't win so that indians are not accused of manipulating this stuff. If an American comes to me and calls me Sanjaya, (my hair style is similar to him), I am going to knock his teeth down.

haha on the radio station in my city, there's a lady who flew out to india and was asking ppl like 'please dont vote for sanjaya!' the indian lady was like why? and the radio lady was like cause he's horrible!!!!!!
