Yo--what? Not at all pornography; that was the last thing from my mind.. Assault and battery is definitely not what I'm talking about.
I like a girl, but it's only because she's beautiful; that is, I can't isolate her from her beauty; what is my remedy?
Haha, you guys are amusing, 'pornography...'

Why even think about an antidote? When lust is gone, you are as good as dead. Is that what you want? A woman is SUPPOSED to make you react this way.
If you, as a MAN, do not feel lust when you see a GORGEOUS woman, you should go see a shrink. Why try to just feel her soul? You will dream about her soul, while some other clever guy will have both her love AND her touch.

Imagine the daughter or sister that you love very much, get stared at by another man in a lustful way. Would you feel comfortable? Or would you beat up that man?
Treat other woman the way you want others to treat your sisters, or your daughter (in the future). Unless you don't mind them being sexually harrassed or abuse also of course, which if you're in the right mind, you would definitly mind.
Get away from pornography!!!

In an ongoing relationship, the antidote of lust is unresolved anger.
In your situation, the antidote to lust is awareness, and a serious effort to get to know her as a person. Once you know who she truly is, your feelings about her beauty will change accordingly.

Hi Maziar,
I believe I can very well understand you. This actually happened to myself the other way round when I was in my very early twenties, feeling very much attracted to a very cool guy, but knowing that my attraction was more lust then "love". The antidote I found after years of inner struggles, was actually to develop in myself love of the soul to this other human being. So to look behind his perfect body and his cool behaviour and see his soul. From this day on I was able to detach myself from this feeling of lust, and could see him as a soul and a human being.
I wish you good luck in achieving this. Believe me it is more precious and also makes you in the end and the other person much more happy, to love another persons souls instead of just their looks and body.

It depends greatly upon gender. Speaking as a male, I can say that only a physical sexual release relieves sexual desire in a man, albeit temporarily. But what significance the word "lust" holds for you, as well as why you would want to be rid of it, might be better questions to ask before one like this is answered.

"What IS" not what be!!!
Self control!!! That takes care of numerous things in life, not just as an antidote to lust.
