woman is a worn out, used up, tired old waitress from the South :
Maybelean ,Maribelle,Marlene,Marylou, Mary lynn, Mary-Jo
for some reason all the "m" names come to mind
the man is a bit younger, cynical, and has a family in Hollywood :
Todd, Dylan, Rick, Alan, Roger... the Hollywood power-lunch-bunch comes to mind.
Good luck with the story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ooooo I'm from the south, live in Mississippi, and a waitress!!! One of the waitress I work with is Mimi, she is in her 50's been there over 20's years. Never been married and has no children and a bad hair dye job...
Then younger man, her ex was actually from a wealthy family in New York his name was Brady.
Mimi is her nickname, Mary Noelle is her real name
Brady Johnson
Mimi Nelson ( not her real last name)
