Diminish On Approach - when someone appears to be good looking from a distance but when you see them close up they are a complete munter!

My mother uses:
LOL= Lots Of Love
I use:
LOL = Laugh Out Loud!
Every time my mother types an email, she writes "lol, Mary" at the end! I crack up and LOL (my usage)!

Well almost everyone know that "LOL" means Laughing Out Loud but so far I haven't heard "DOA" Well good luck on that one!:)

LOL is for laugh out loud. normally used for chatting.
DOA is dead on arrival. this is used for crime scenes. such as "he was DOA at the hospital".
