If it is a penny for my thoughts and I put in my 2 cents worth ... then you have an extra penny for the next time and do not have to pay -- the advice will be free and un-asked-for, when you least expect it!

To think a thought and to say a thought is two different things. Maybe it means to think the thought cost one cent. and do say it cost another. just trying to make cents of all of this! ha ha ha get it? cents.
