I guess that depends on the velocity it is thrown at. A big strong guy like you ought to be able to throw it say.....50 feet?

Actually, me and the wife were intrigued by this question, and had a few old phones laying around. And dispite our current winter storm, her phone made 251 feet, mine is at 526 feet. For the record, neither phone works now.

depends on how much room you have. i recomend you try skipping it in the water, like skipping rocks, for length.
