Yeah, pretty much. God is just observing and laughing. The human race will destroy Earth and God will move on, unphased. The end.

As I understand, Chirstian Mythology is about free will. If you buy into the (really excellent idea) that God was the force behind evolution, then even THAT would have had free will.
This implies that what we are is based on the natural forces he put into play. What we capable of, however is an individuals decisions.
Most people I know have CHOSEN to be idiots.
Is this Gods plan?
No! Pay attention, he doesn't 'have a plan', he is watching the results of free will.
I would go into the atemporal nature of God to fill this out, but I doubt anyone is really interested in Boethius.
(P.S. anyone who thinks we are 'evolving into something better' has no idea what they are talking about. Evolution is about who gets to have babies, vs. the natural changes in the world around. As people are now (for the most part) immune to the effects of evolution, and we allow every dumb redneck to have as many babies as Welfare can afford, we have, in effect, reversed Evolution. Ack...)

The Great Spirit is a higher spirit of ourselves to help us reach a higher plain that will never end. It is the circle of life. We will continuously evolve as there is no end. For what? So we will all eventually become supreme beings? why? For a perfect world? Wouldn't it have been much easier to just make the world perfect to begin with ? With no evil? Evil is a void where there is no love or compassion. I don't buy into structured religion. Spirit is real but who is right? No one if everyones wrong. I guess if I knew the answer to that question I would be famous

OK- first problem is trying to breech religion-science. Evolution is a scientific theory which many people have a big problem with and its real tenant is that organisms adapt to their environment; we have haven't had a significant development over the past 10000 years, so our genes have been basically hanging out. Pretty cool though to think that the way a person looks today may have lbeen around during ancient Egypt or Rome, eh?

the answer will be depending on your believe and faith. firstly if you said evolution, are you referring to darwin's theory? darwin's theory was proven wrong so many years ago. when we get back to the creation of mankind, firstly we are made of a tiny winy sperm that interacts with ovum, become a small flesh and grow into a baby in specific time, normally 9months. it is not evolution. it is what we call growth. evolution means the DNA changed, but in humankind creation is a growth.
as our purpose on this land is to manage it. god created us so that we can manage the worlds. HE send us guidences, unfortunately many of us failed to follow it. that is what happen today, half world of morons. in decades or centuries later, there will be no more world we are living today.

Hopefully we evolve into beings of higher calibre.
I certainly hope I will never revert to a being capable of comitting an atrocity in the name of religious doctrine.

We can't beging to understand the reason for the world and For the greater plan in eternity.
It seems the more we know, the more we don't know.
We just know that eventually we will understand. Meanwhile
we are here, we can't change that, So, we either mess our lives up because we can't understand, or we make the best of our time here on earth.

There is no god, at least not a creator God - if you ask me. We are evolving for the sole purpose of adapting to our environment - evolution itself has no grand purpose, lest the survival of genes.
